Each of the 30 gorgeous azalea varieties bloom in spring, summer, and fall. These plants will continue to brighten your outdoor living space with vivid color and lush foliage season after season.

Encore Azaleas® first bloom in the spring.

As they bloom new shoots begin to grow and set buds. These buds begin blooming through summer an

d fall. (Could this be why they named them “Encore?” Once winter sets in, the blooming stops but the evergreen foliage remains lovely during the winter until the blooming process begins all over again.

These azaleas are low maintenance and look great in any landscape. From dwarf to intermediate varieties, there’s an Encore for every garden. Similar to ferns, camellias, and rhododendrons, the multi-blooming azaleas make a striking impact when grouped together. They are perfect as foundation plants or hedges and thrive as container plants and can be brought inside for the winter.

A perfect gift for any occasion, these plants are truly the gift that keeps on giving. They enrich any garden and mix beautifully with other plants. An added bonus—butterflies and hummingbirds love their vibrant hues and funnel shaped blooms.

Tips to make sure your Encore Azaleas® thrive.

  1. The ideal time to plant is the fall. This gives the plants time to establish its root system before blooming in the spring.
  2. They grow best in sun to partial shade. At least 4-6 hours of sunlight is recommended. If planted in the shade, they will not optimally produce blooms.
  3. Azaleas are thirsty and need plenty of water and also need adequate drainage.
  4. Fertilize once at the beginning of spring. Ask for a slow release azalea/camellia fertilizer.
